Throwback Poetry

Soldier

Humans, merely minions
Here to kill
Brainwashed to fulfill a wish of another
All uniform, stepping in the same patterns
Conformists with their weapons
No one knows them
All damned creatures made to destroy
Killing machines
Created to fulfill a wish of another

With their bayonets and rifles
They will annihilate
They will create Hell
They will die
They will conform
Apathy fills their souls
They want nothing
They love nothing
They hate nothing

Humans are soldiers
Compassionless
The way this life works
To be the best, one must be a soldier
To be on top, one must overthrow
Soldiers, the way of life
Death one by one
The world a hellhole created by soldiers
The world a hellhole destroyed by soldiers
Mortality serving as soldiers
Humans, merely soldiers
Soldier here to kill
Soldier here to die
Soldier here to live
Everyone conforms
The world has met its demise; the world lives forever!

Merely Love

For a male I love
I hold his heart with my blood
With sweet sentiments

Black Heart

There is a black hole
Which replaces my soul
I am dead
Full of dread
To no one I owe my love’s toll

I am a graduate of the University of Mount Union. I work for ResCare HomeCare as an attendant. I was a psychology major. I am still interested in English and theatre. Writing has always been one of my passions, and such is why I decided to create this blog. I also love animals. When I am not working hard on whatever project I happen to have my hands on, I am at home playing with my animals. I live with two cats named Garfield and Oreo. I also love to listen to all kinds of music, such as The Birthday Massacre, Emilie Autumn, The Cruxshadows, The Cranberries, Celldweller, Emperor, R.E.M., Future Funk Squad, Symphony X, Einherjer, and Nightwish. Oh, and as of October 15, 2015, I'm engaged. I plan to get married on October 31, 2017.
