Employee of the Month in December 2015

So, I became employee of the month in December 2015 working for ResCare HomeCare. I know it isn’t a big deal for most people, given that they are usually employees of the month at one time or another, but for me, at 27 years old, it’s the first time for me. I was ecstatic! Granted, I came very close to becoming employee of the month several times when I worked for DON Services and TRIPIL Services, but one person always beat me. This month, no one beat me. I was surprised because I thought that I wasn’t being too great, given that I am not usually very punctual and that I have felt like a zombie.

Apparently, punctuality isn’t a huge deal in my company, given I work in home health care. Also, the traffic in Atlanta, GA is just god-awful most of the time. But I am a very caring person and go above and beyond with my job. I guess that’s why I got the award (or it could be that I was the lesser of two evils, but who knows? Either way, I won’t kiss a gift horse in the mouth.).

Thank you everyone for reading.

I am a graduate of the University of Mount Union. I work for myself as a Door Dash driver, contracted. I was a psychology major. I am still interested in English and theatre. Writing stories that defy the English language and troll Peter W. Parker (and others) is my passion. I used to draw comics, but I had a comic artist block, so now I troll Peter W. Parker (and others) with my stories. I also love animals. I also love to listen to all kinds of music, such as The Birthday Massacre, Emilie Autumn, The Cruxshadows, The Cranberries, Celldweller, Emperor, R.E.M., Future Funk Squad, Symphony X, Einherjer, Borknagar, and Nightwish. And I'm married to the King Chocolate-Covered Gummy Bears. But don't tell the government. They suck the fun out of it.

      1. You’re right. I should have just confidence within, but… I kinda don’t. People always coming and going in my life gets really exhausting, ya know.

      2.  Don’t let shabby grades smear your beautiful personality. Good luck.

      1. Yes, work to the Glory of God and please Him! That helped me-like when I’m not recognized or appreciated….hehehe That will happen a lot, I’m sad to say.
