What I Accomplished in 2016… So far

I have not accomplished that much. I wrote a poem of four lines, wrote about my mind zig-zagging yet again, worked, shaved my legs, and trolled people on WordPress.com. Sheesh. I have written more comments than posts. But anyway, let’s accomplish something else while I think about it. A sister poem to what I wrote before:

More Than You Think You Do

You stand out more than you think you do.

You work harder than you think you do.

You affect others more than you think you do.

You shine more than you think you do.

And…

You make the world smile more than you think you do.

I am a graduate of the University of Mount Union. I work for ResCare HomeCare as an attendant. I was a psychology major. I am still interested in English and theatre. Writing has always been one of my passions, and such is why I decided to create this blog. I also love animals. When I am not working hard on whatever project I happen to have my hands on, I am at home playing with my animals. I live with two cats named Garfield and Oreo. I also love to listen to all kinds of music, such as The Birthday Massacre, Emilie Autumn, The Cruxshadows, The Cranberries, Celldweller, Emperor, R.E.M., Future Funk Squad, Symphony X, Einherjer, and Nightwish. Oh, and as of October 15, 2015, I'm engaged. I plan to get married on October 31, 2017.

  1. That poem was a good day’s work. I am working like mad on editing my book so I haven’t been on WordPress as much. I have also started making homemade lye soap. I want to start selling it when I have enough cured and stockpiled.

  2. I’ve written a lot of comments and I’ve written some posts, but I have written any poetry, not even a single line. I just can’t do it, unfortunately, so you’ve definitely beaten me in that department. I also haven’t shaved my legs. 🙂

      1. Well, to be honest, overrating was never a particular problem with my poetry. Of course, my work would probably have been taken more seriously if it didn’t usually begin, “Roses are red, violets are blue.”
